Keep Your Team Motivated

Motivate Your TeamOne of the biggest challenges within an organization is keeping a team motivated.  A team that is motivated has a good attitude and will produce better results.  Why not have a little fun motivating your team with some friendly competition.

First pick out a game to play, you can try a scavenger hunt, corn hole/bean bag toss, ping pong shooter, or relay races. If you are looking for more ideas, take a look at the “Minute to Win it” site.  All of these team-building games are quick and easy and require a minimal amount of supplies.

Give employees a little extra time during their lunch hour to compete. Keep a tally of the points and award the team with the most points a small prize at the end of the day. Keep it interesting by switching up the games and keep a tally of scores for the entire month. The team that has the most points at the end of the month gets an extra bonus; such as leave early from work one day or a casual day rewarded to them, whichever reward best fits your organization.

You will find a little fun will go a long way with employees. Everyone will enjoy a little competition and camaraderie. Employees who feel like part of the team will be more dedicated to the organization, more creative and be willing to go beyond expectations!
