Customer Service Idea Guide

Set up an activity that illustrates the importance of working together. Build a tower out of supplies, such as paper cups, plastic utensils, etc. Have teams recreate the tower. Provide supplies, but make it so that no team can complete the task without exchanging some supplies with other teams. When the towers are complete, hand out “One Team, One Goal, No Limits” Stationery Sets.

Let creativity shine by organizing a chair-decorating competition. Encourage participants to use their imaginations. Allow items brought in from home to be part of the creations. Have prize categories, such as funniest, most elaborate, and prettiest. Reward winners with “10 Reasons I ♥ Customer Service” T-Shirts.

Give your reps a challenge. Ask them to think of a slogan that can inspire your department until the next Customer Service Week. Assemble a panel of judges who will choose the best one. Use “Every Customer Counts” Water Bottles to thank your reps for participating.

Your customers will be able to tell if your reps are smiling, even over the phone. And what produces more smiles than cute animals? Hold a cutest pet contest; invite employees to submit photos. Shrink down the photos and put them all on one sheet if possible. Distribute color copies of this sheet; have people circle their favorite. Award “Keep A Smile In Your Voice” Desk Caddy to the people with the top three pets.
